I bought this for my wife's Springfield XD Subcompact 9mm and it is easily installed. I have no problem seeing it in bright sunlight and it's very bright inside. I have larger hands " XL gloves tight" and it activates without me having to think about it. My wife has smaller than average hands for a women "4'10" tall" and she does have to make sure she touches the switch when gripping the gun. All this said and it's a tool. It's largest use has been for working on my wifes trigger control. With the laser activated I am able to see her flinching, she too also notices it sometimes.

Streamlight TLR-1 HL High-Lumen Weapon Light
Installed the light on my Springfield XDM 3.8 compact .40 cal. I'm use to Stearmlight quality from when i was a volunteer Firemen. It's built tough as I expected and gets tossed around on my pistol in my daily life. Very bright, but in my house with cream colored walls it doesn't seem overly bright.

Pelican 1600 Large Watertight Hard Cases
Great case, big, Normal Pelican quality.I have a 1600 and a 1500 both without foam, I use them as toolboxes. They tough and withstand the beating of the oil field. I will be ordering another for a rifle I have on order. Again the quality is great, just as expected.
