I have had this brand and model for 35yrs the first one lis still operational going on 30 yrs. We moved and installed another identical lasted 5 years and died needs a $250 gas valve. So we purchased a 3rd and it didn’t work out of the box, troubleshooted it and the thermo coupler is bad. Replaced it with the old thermo from the broke heater Will not buy again the quality isn’t there any more.
Plus you pay for new and expect it to be tested before being shipped.
