I did a lot research looking for a reliable but decent price mrd mount for my carry Glock 19. After reading many positive reviews I decided to get this mount once the mount and my vortex venom arrived I started to install the mount. And noticed it was a pretty loose fit into the dovetail but I figured the set screws would take care of that. Once I got the mount assembled I tried setting the venom on there and the sight would not fully seat on the support posts. So I consulted a install video on YouTube to make sure I was doing it right. Once confirming that I had put the post in correctly I had to lightly file to posts to get seated. I then mounted the sight in the order of the instructions when finished the mount to the slide there was enough air gap for me to slide a gift between. The sight mount looked as if the first round fired would send it flying I made sure not to over torque the set screws. From the reviews that I have read it seems that most people have had good luck with them and occasionally some folk run into issues with them as I have between I’ll fit and sheered screws. I think that this mount was out of spec and it is a fluke overall the mount came well packaged with no missing parts and detailed instructions so I won’t fault strike industries for not trying to put out a good product. I think this one just snuck past QC unfortunately being excited about getting a new widget to play with so to speak the box got file 13 and the mount got modified by me
