Have a nice heft and feel. Definitely good for practicing loading and cycling the action. Helps to learn how to load without jamming the action while practicing home defense drills - and not making holes in the walls.

Good for practicing putting rounds in and cycling them through magazines for a training aid for newbies. They definitely wear out from firing pin strikes, but the exercise is good for practice and muscle memory.

Effective lock to make transporting your guns legal. All keys work on all locks. As a simple lock, I don't think it would be too hard to cut off if you needed to, but definitely good for child proofing when combined with other common sense safety practices.

It might work once, so good for that. I don't think you are going to win WWIII with it. Glad I have it if I need it. This is not something you would keep on at all times and is a bit of work to get on and off safely.

doesn't glow very well

If in bright day light, it is a nice sight. If you 'charge' it by holding it under a light, then turn out the lights, it glows nicely. If you are pulling it out of a dark place like a safe or holster, it won't glow and you are back to black on black on black.
