I love this buffer system. I put it in a 6.5 Creedmoor with a 27" barrel. She runs like a Cadillac. Smooth and quiet to charge, and you can even tell it is quieter when firing. A benefit i did not expect was that it seems to reduce recoil with my VG6 Epsilon 65.

I see some confusion on the fitment of this. This larger version, for the AR-10 (large frame) does not need the the gas key to be removed for instalation. The cam pin for the AR-15 (small frame) does need the gas key to be removed for installation.
All that said, I love this little device. It not only reduces wear on your upper, it makes for a smoother and slightly quieter movement. I put it in my latest build, a DPMS style 6.5 Creedmoor with a 27" barrel. I Love it
