I’m former U,S. Military and I’m familiar with the ACOG and Trijicon night sights. I like there products very much until now. I was excited when the box containing the MRO arrived. I was looking forward to sighting it in with some slugs through my Benelli M4. When I first looked through the sight after unpacking it, it was crisp and sharp with no distortion. I came back a few hours later to mount it onto the American Defense low mount and then mount it to the shotgun. After mounting, I brought the shotgun up to look through the sight and was shocked. The red do looked like it exposed. It wasn’t crisp, it was difficult to see the dot. It looked like a Chinese of Arabic letter had replaced the red dot? I thought I was imagining things so I called my son over to have a look. He commented the the dot had changed. He could still see the dot with difficulty and he said that a bunch or lines were emanating from the dot. He’s also 21 and has younger eyes than mine so he was a good second opinion as he too looked through the sight shortly after it arrived. I may have received a defective item? But it seems that others have had similar experiences. I mean the dot is so fuzzy there is no way to sight it in so I’m not going to waste the ammo. I wonder if this was a return? Well if it wasn’t it will soon be. It is expensive for what it is and I love the Benelli iron sights. I’ll return this and see if I have similar issues with another MRO.
