Easy to Transport and Does the Job

Written on Nov 15, 2023

This Shooting Rest worked great. Love the rough front adjustment and the fine back adjustment. I sit my rifles with the butt grip in front of the rear pad and it helps take up allot of the recoil as I'm setting in scopes. There are more expensive ones out there but this one can be weighted down if needed and does the job without taking up allot of room. It is just a little tricky to put together (the instructions are a little hard to see positioning) but if you look closely and take your time it goes together fine. Until now I've always used a shooting bag and a rear sand bag ... but this holds stable enough to easily make adjustments. And with the price of bullets it does not take long for it to pay for itself.

A Solid, and Versatile Adapter

Written on Nov 15, 2023

I bought two of these adaptors to enable a quick change from bipod to track plate. For the track plate function, I removed the sling/bipod post and drilled and tapped two 10-32 holes to mount the track plate (using blue loc-tote to ensure it doesn’t loosen with recoil). The flat base of the Blackhawk adaptor works very well for this application. The other Blackhawk adapter I have fitted to my Sinclair F Class bipod, no fitment issues - nice and secure fit. Now I can quickly change from track plate to bipod or vice versa. As noted with other reviews, recommend using a pair of pliers to ensure adaptor doesn’t loosen with recoil (I have my plier jaws wrapped with several layers of electrical tape to prevent marring). No problems after numerous rounds. The lock nut is a 1/4” nut but unless you have a very thin walled socket, it won’t fit inside the knurled knob to tighten said nut hence the pliers recommendation. I would recommend this product.

I love this optic.

This is my first vortex scope. I purchased their red dot and that got me interested in trying more of their products. I have owned 2 leupolds and then cheaper brands like monstrum and ncstar. The clarity and controls with this scope are amazing. Ive never had an easier time sighting a optic in. It took about 10 minutes. The first 8 were me not being able to see where it was hitting (only 100 yard range was open). I was hitting low right by a foot or so. Put up a splatter target, adjusted the scope, and then i was about 2 inches low right. Adjusted it one more time and it was dead on.
