The front sight has a Tritium insert and glows in the dark. The front sight on my Taurus 605 is held in place with a little roll pin. You are going to need a pin driver to remove the pin (don't lose it, you will use it to pin the night sight). Use a stainless steel pin driver. If you use a brass driver it will bend (that little pin is in the mounting hole VERY tight. No need for locktite although a small tube is included with sight. I would advise buying this over the phone. The reason for this is that the Optics Planet ordering software will change whatever address you type in if ordering online. Mine shipped to the wrong address.
