Overall it is a nice system. Heavy duty, not cheaply made. Not sure if the cost of carbon vs aluminum is worth it. Perhaps if you are working in a cold environment.
Would recommend a ball head. Ball head clamp is easier for tracking a moving target.
This clamp is great for range or stationary targets.
