If your having issues with the dot try this , make sure the battery is good ,if you can't see a dot hold the + button down for a full 30 seconds, if you still don't have a visible dot pump the + button untill you see one , I hope this helps , it worked for me ...

I mounted the MI-G2SUB-T2 base in the third m-lock slot and the carbine folds up allowing romeo5 red dot to clear the stock charging handle to clear the optics even with the lens caps installed . I prefer to not rely on a cord to retain a preloaded charging handle from potentially damaging the optics. MURPHEYS LAW SHOULD ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED when possible !! I have not had the opportunity to shoot this set up yet , but I see no reason Why it should not function just fine ...
