there are only 2 brightness options, bright and super bright. You can not adjust it since it has auto adjust, meaning it is always on the super bright setting. There is nothing you can do to dim the brightness. The light detectors are too small to cover up, meaning only those with perfect vision will actually be able to use this optic.
I wear glasses and somehow it still starbursts so don't think it will help. It is better to buy an optic with MANY brightness options rather than 2. I promise you will regret it.
