Armaspec AR10 Gun Builders Lower Parts Kit
I purchased this product to match my Desert Raider AR-10 build from Aerp Precision. The bronze color looks great with the multi-color cerakote finish. The parts fit well and the machining is good on the parts. The kit does not have the roll pin for the bolt catch. It comes with a threaded post instead. If your lower’s bolt catch is threaded, it will be fine. If not, you will need to get a roll pin. My Aero lower included a threaded post for the bolt catch, so I didn’t need it anyway. I have used the Armaspec parts kits on two other builds, and I have been pleased with the results.

Romeo 5 - Excellent Red Dot Sight

The Romeo 5 from Sig Sauer is a great sight. The sight is very easy to install and the riser block set it to perfectly cowitness with my pop up sights. The red dot is easy to see at the upper power levels. The sight should work well at the lower power levels with night vision. The red dot comes back on at the power level it was at when the unit is turned off. The sight is well built and looks like it should hold up well.

Great Handguard

I looked around at several different handguards before I decided on this one. I was building my first AR and I wanted a handguard that gave me a good base to add accessories and that looked good on the rifle. The UTG Pro M-Lok fits the bill. All the sharp edges have been smoothed and this handguard feels very good in your hand. The proprietary barrel nut and mounting hardware make this a very stable platform to mount any accessories. This handguard comes with a wrench for the barrel nut, a short piece of rail and a sling swivel mount. I have been very pleased with the purchase and I would recommend this to anyone.
