I needed a sling for my new Marlin 444. I tried various slings and I had a few Butler Cobra sings from 1979 (I still use today) mounted on other rifles. I tried one on the 444 and that was perfect so I ordered this new one from Optics Planet. This leather cobra sling seems to be made just a well made today as they were back then. Im very satisfied with this purchase.

I have tried braces from Shockwave, Thordson as well as many different straight tube configurations. I think SB Tactical provides the best pistol braces in the industry. This SOB went over the larger mil-spec buffer tube but it was slightly loose. Three wraps of electrical tape on the buffer tube in the center and each end make it a rock solid fit. In fact, I just ordered their SBM4 to give it a try on another AR pistol. 4 stars was because of price - otherwise a 5 star brace. These braces are very cheap to manufacture ( insider knowledge ) in production run but they mark this stuff up tremendously so we are kinda at their mercy. This is an excellent product nonetheless. If you have an AR Pistol, these are the braces to get - period. I am extremely satisfied. Note: If you get a longer buffer tube that will give most people the best fit for quick accurate shots and if you have a scoped AR pistol the SOB will give you better eye relief. Dot sights are very quick to engage with this brace as well.
