I own 2. A 30mm and a 34mm
The 30 works great. The 34 had the treaded part seperate from the adapter when tightening. I had to spray release agent and super glue the threads back into it.

This is my second purchase and both are great for the money.
They both get a little blurry at 16x and the eyebox get smaller but they are very usualbe and surprising clear. I would reccomend.

The rifle sits crooked and the ledt side of the barrel contacts the stock. No amount of reseating will change this. The front action screw didnt reach 20 inch poinds before the stock wanted to crack at the center lamination.
I've decided a pillar job and a full length bedding will solve my issue. Out of the box the stock looks great but the fitment was terrible.

The action refuses to sit properly in the stock, as if the recoil lug is canted or the action screw holes are misaligned enough to make proper alignment impossible. It is bad enough that the barrel is touching the left side just in front of the chamber area.

The trigger guard metal would not even fit into the stock. You would think this would be checked at the factory.

The front action screw could not even reach 20 inch-pounds before the stock started to crack and delaminate right in the middle, just forward of the screw hole. The damage is very minor because I used a torque screwdriver and stopped the moment I heard it begin to crack.

I had debated bedding it with pillars, and now that appears to be my only option so I can get everything where it should be and achieve proper torque.

At the moment, switching from the original stock to the Boyds stock has actually made the rifle less accurate.

Personally, I would not buy another Boyds stock after this experience.

The glass is easily the clearity of a $300 scope.
The pop up target turrets are good and crisp. The included rings are worth using.
I plan of using this on a rimfire. It looks well made but im not sure it would last on something like a 308 AR and up.

The glass clarity is good, 7/10.
There is a very faint edge distortion, the black outline of the scope body is noticeable, its not one of thoese scopes with an edge to edge image.
The eyebox is ls alright, about the middle of the road.
The reticle is really where it could use something more/elese. You'll either love or hate the center aiming point, its a plus sign with no center, i like how it dosent upstruct the target.
The graduated hash marks aren't intuitive and need studied to understand what they do at all.

I've owned all 4 generations of Armaspec sound mitigation buffers.
Gen 3 and 4 are the best. If you want a simple single spring set up go for the gen 3. I use one in my ar that has just enough gas to function. The gen 4 dual spring wont lock back but it's an under gassed issue not the buffer.
The gen 4 kit with all 3 weights is my favorite. The second spring for end of travel helps with what little recoil there is.

I got this scope as a packaged deal. Came with a Thompson Center Compass and scope ring. The entire package was $225. I did expect much for an inexpensive scope but I was surprised. The glass is pretty clear, this is becoming more common with newer scopes. The clarity drops off at max magnification and the eye-box gets smaller, however it's easily up there with scopes in the $300-400. My Athlon Argos and my Nikon Monarch are a set above but at over 3 times the price.
This would be the perfect scope for rim-fire all the way up to a hunting rifle. I'm not sure if it would survive on an AR-10 or a Scar.
I lost my elevation turret cap. Vortex sent me two new ones, stickers and a free hat. Your gonna get taken care of if there is a problem.

The fit and finish is great.
every so often the ar 10 bcg was closing all the way. Would go like 95-99% of the way home and hang up.
The bolt carrier came with two orings and a dual spring set up. Then amount of force required to get the extractor claw over the lip of the case was too much and the gun would randomly hang up.
I took one oring out and it's been perfect. Just a heads up if you have issues. I was running a 308 spring and buffer.

When it comes to a light trigger with a lot of hammer energy this is on the top of my list. I don't like the competition red plastic shoe and prefer metal.
The break on this trigger is slightly different, as you start to get close to the break it starts to creep when it breaks. It doesn't feel anywhere near 2 pounds and I don't consider it a super crisp trigger with a definite wall, you know when you've reached the end of tolerance stack but there isn't a hump or high point just before the break. Honestly I like that for it's intended purpose.
It is super fast with lots of hammer force and very reliable.
