Never disappointed by Vortex

Written on Apr 06, 2020

Solid mount, No wobble to speak of, stays zeroed and I trust it. I like their use of torx head screws. There is no flex in the mount what so ever. After securing it to the rifle and grabbing it and trying to move it - it does not move. Very consistent trip after trip to the range. I just don’t think about it honestly. The scope is part of the rifle now end of story.

Great upper at an awesome price

Written on Mar 06, 2019

Stag products are top of the line and optics planets have them for an even better price is just a no brainer to buy here. Stag bcg’s are impressively machined very crisp and smooth operating. Charging these uppers can be done with your pinky they run so smooth. Very accurate. Last time I took mine out hit 30 for 30 shots on a 24” gong at 700 yards just shooting the cheapest 55 grain steel cases ammo I could find.

Fine little red dot

Written on Jul 20, 2018

Legacy reviewer - Your negative review is unfounded. Many manufacturers send out there products with thread locker applied like magpul comes to mind on there mbus sights. They do this for you. The dot looks like a splattered paint ball because you need glasses my friend. Not saying this can’t happen maybe you legitimately have a bad one, but yeah 9 times out of 10 you need glasses. Try turning it on and rotating the optic or your head if the anomalies (striations/blobs) stay in one place then there is a defect in the optic. If they follow your movements like when you rotate your head then you have bad vision.

Great red dot for the right price

Written on Jun 30, 2018

Plenty bright, very durable, perfect size, and enables very accurate shots - small dot. Battery life is unbelievable. Love it. I’ve never owned an aim point, I’ve checked out a T1 from them, and I think this red dot is every bit as good coming in at about a third of the price.
