If your reloading range brass it is essential that you use the Small Base dies the first time you resize the brass or there is a really good chance it won't fit your rifle. Especially if the bass is once fired military brass.
I specifically wanted something with a large diameter optic and this thing is huge. Plus with the shake awake feature I can just leave it on all the time. Inexpensive with a lifetime warranty; couldn't be happier.
These are exactly what I wanted. bright during the day due to the fiber but still easily seen on the bedstand in the middle of the night. NO, I don't have kids and kids DO NOT come over to my house! I live in Texas.
I have this on my EDC Glock 27 with a .357Sig barrel and they have a great sight picture during the day due to the fiber optic but the best part is that at night they still have a great sight picture due to the tritium in front of the fiber optic. I would say that the only thing that would make this better is if the front sight glowed a different color.
I mainly got this for three gun as I wanted to make sure that the pistol would not fall out while moving but I didn't want a holster that require pushing a loop forward then pushing a button down.
This one works by simply grabbing the handle and you finger naturally pushes the lever right at the base of the trigger guard releasing the pistol.
I am just getting into shooting since I was a teenager and I am prepping for 3-gun. It was surprising to see the range of prices on scopes and I thought I would get something for around $200. I found out that having a scope with a 1x magnification setting makes a big difference since you can keep both eyes open and works a lot better than iron sights since you then only have a single focal plane.
Spend the little bit of extra money and get this scope. You will be very happy that you did.
I bought this and when it came in it was much lighter than the Bushnell PEPR model that I previously bought. I mainly got it due to the 45 angle rail.
I changed the 45 mount so that it was on the left side but then the front lever won't close. So I removed the levers and mounted them to close to the rear instead of the front. Unfortunately the locking mechanisms are difficult to engage with the lever rotated. The whole assembly also did not seem to sit very tight. I attempted to tighten the nut on the right side and it stripped.
My guess is that it is soo lite weight because it is made of cheap aluminum. You will pay a lot more but check out the Cantilever mount by Warne that has two 45 mounts.
