Incredible

Written on Dec 09, 2023

I don't think you can beat this trigger at this price point. I'm not certain a better option exists anywhere close to it. It is a very simple drop in unit that lives up to the hype. It absolutely does what it says it will do. There is barely any movement at all. It is the one of the shortest, lightest pulls you can get, with the trigger still feeling deliberate. As soon as you consciously decide to fire and begin to pull, it goes. Mimtac's customer service is also incredible. They really care about their products and the people who use them.

Ridiculous

Unbeatable for the price. Break is good, reset is instant. Total motion involved from pull to reset is extremely short.

Really Good

I spent a lot of time trying to decide between the Viper, the FF3, or the Venom. After handling the FF3 in person I chose the Viper unseen for Vortex's warranty and it's lower profile. It was the right move. There's more brightness settings and it doesn't obscure the irons. What may not be apparent is that the FF3 is taller than the 2. And it will block suppressor height irons, EVEN IF the slide is specifically milled for it. The viper does not. Battery life is great on the viper too. I haven't turned it off in a month. It shuts down after about 14H but I've turned it back on every day on a medium brightness setting. The glass has a very faint tint that is only perceptible in certain light. It is very clear, and has minimal distortion at the corners. The FF3 had a ton. I won't say whether it would effect poi at extreme angles, but the viper dropped on and I was shooting dead on with the irons without touching it. Huge advantage to a lower optic is speed. If you are used to tracking the front sight and your presentation is mildly consistent a dot this low will not take any time to find. The dot is fairly crisp despite my eyes not doing great with many other rds. It goes bright enough to be used in direct sunlight, or aimed into a light source. And so dim it is barely perceptible in total darkness. It handled reciprocating with the slide for a few hundred rounds the first time out without any issues. No blinking, or cutting out. Absolutely well built, reaso
