Hornady Primer tube shutoff

Review for
Hornady 366 Primer Shut Off
the Hornady primer tube shutoff is a MUST have if you are using the Hornady 366 Auto shotshell loader. As it comes from the factory there is no way to stop primer flow if the loader is cycled. For the price $$$ Hornady charges for the 366 Auto; the primer tube shutoff should be a factory upgrade included.
For ease of use & relief of headaches the primer tube shutoff upgrade is well worth the price.
I highly recommend.

Hornady 366 Auto

Review for
Hornady 366 Auto Shotshell Reloaders
Overall the Hornady 366 Auto is vastly superior shotshell reloading system; design & ease of operation is superior to MEC reloaders .
I have used MEC reloaders for 40+ years; still use 20,28,410 MEC loaders. I finally got fed up with the constant tweaking required, & the poor primer systems of MEC loaders .
MEC: poor primer system, no shot & powder cutoff systems , constant parts replacement, constant primer feed tweaking.
Hornady 366: superior mechanical design, has powder & shot cut off systems, superior primer feed design, smooth/efficient reloading operation.
MEC: allows shell removal @ any stage of operation
Hornady 366 : can not remove shell once operation has started.
Hornady 366: primer shutoff off system only available as $$ upgrade (should be factory upgrade, considering cost of 366)
MEC: factory primer feed design is dismal; available primer feed designs work no better.
Overall: Hornady 366 is superior to MEC without being $$$ rediculous
