The brace feels solid out of the box. I have yet to mount it, so cannot comment on that.
The finish is why 4 stars as opposed to 5. It appears that it would mark or scratch easily. Will try adding a thin layer of spray polyurethane as if being scratched would severely annoy me.

I was looking for a F5 brace for the JAKL pistol, but bought this in haste, not realizing it was the wrong thing. Seemed sturdy from handling it. Shipping from Optics Planet was way quicker than which was initially estimated.
