This is the second one of these I have. I got one for a 783 long action before the the both work great and fit perfectly. The seem to be very well made and do exactly what they are supposed to do. My only complaint was that it was on back order for almost 6 months which wasn't Optic Planet's fault. I guess Leupold decided they weren't a priority item to make for a while.
Fun build and learning experience

I build this with my Grandson and although his hands weren't strong enough to do some things he had fun and learned a lot. I haven't looked real hard but I never noticed a blemish. I do wish I had realized it did not come with a rear iron sight as I would have gone ahead and ordered one for just until we can afford to put a scope on. We haven't shot it yet but are looking forward to doing so.

My son has one of these on his 308 and I really liked it. Has great eye relief and is very clear.
