Horrible mounting system. Awesome red dot.

I have mounted this on Multiple guns paying up to $140 for the mounting plate. The Dot's ACRO Mounting is not good. It loosens up regardless of the type pf Liquid lock you use. Also it completely destroyed the Plate which was $140. The they warrantied the plate but Steiner made a great Red Dot with a horrible mounting system. When you pay $400 plus for an optic you would think it would be solid. Take a look at the packaging this comes in that will tell you everything you need to know. Could not be more disappointed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the emitter is clear and would be great if it could stay on the gun.

These work great especially for smaller dogs. But My dog went after another dog and this ripped right out of my hand. I am not a small man but I did not react quick enough. These are illegal in most states as your Dog will be considered at large. Anything more than 6' is illegal. Ask me how I know to the tune of $180 ticket. Don't believe me check your local laws!
