This is the model that accepts the 6-48 screws only, not the current one (as of 3/2021) that comes with both sizes (8-40 and 6-48 with the larger head). The package I received had already been opened, the heat seal was completely broken on one side and the package torn. For some reason, it also contained 5 6-48 screws.

There really isn't much to say here. Fit and finish is excellent. The item is snag free and mounts the bipod much closer than other products on the market. Price is competitive with the other options out there as well.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this brake. The finish is pretty nice on it but that wasn't all that important to me. I used it on a 300 Win Mag (Rem 700 Sendero SFII) and it really knocks the recoil down. I am sure there are better out there, but at 5+ times the cost and not 5x times better. It is hard to quantify it, but I can now shoot 30-40 rounds out of my 300 Win Mag, from the bench or off a bipod without complaint. I really like that it comes with a jam nut.

I have only used it a few times but seems well made and has enough padding to be comfortable. It rolls up nice and compact too which is a useful feature. It is also a good size for me (about 6' 175 lbs).
