Awesome rail, super light!

Written on Jul 30, 2017

Bought this for my .300 Blackout build (7.5" barrel) and a Guntec flash can. No issues. Great fit on the upper and looks sharp. Keymod slots are clean, no issues attaching items. Finish of the rail is excellent. ODIN Works is good stuff.

Great barrel!

No issue on installation, fits well. After 500 rounds of 4 different brands/bullet weights, I am pleased to say it is very accurate and works well. 165 gr ammo seems to be most accurate. The ports put out some flame as expected but it's a great barrel overall.

Great optic

I believe after trying several red dots (EOTech, Aimpoint, and other Trijicon models) I have found the perfect one for my SBR. Not as pricey as a T-1 but considering features and performance so far, I think the MRO is great.

Decent quality and specs

Written on Mar 04, 2016

For the price I paid, I'm fairly happy with this red dot. The 3 MOA dot however is not super crisp, there is a slight blurriness or starshot around the dot. I owned an Aimpoint PRO before this and that 2 MOA dot was crisp and fine. That is a much more expensive red dot of course and the difference is price is substantial for some folks. I only sold my PRO because it was too bulky for my SBR. The spare battery compartment is actually under the optic in the AR-F3 mount. I don't think that's very convenient as you have to remove the optic but it is keyed so in theory you won't lose your zero or much at least. Overall, the Fastfire is a nice red dot far as features and size.
