gorgeous slide
Written on Dec 26, 2022
On a 356xl. Run a 507k. On an Icarus grip. The black is gorgeous. And cuts are appropriate. Helps reduce recoil with the slide weight reduced. Easy to grab and rack. Considering building a second to match, but in satin silver…. Good stuff

Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover - Heavy
Purchased the cover for a Saker 556k. It was the “Heavy” cover. Took it to the range and within manufactures guidelines (to maintain warranty), the cover itself charred and smoked. The inner heatshield did not fail. Optics planet has been great. Accepted the return and bought another. It really does help with heat mirage, and makes the can handleable.

great follow up shots
Written on Sep 17, 2021
I’ve bought two of these and am really really happy. It helps with barrel rise. If you’re into big balls of flame, this is also your brake. On the obnoxious side, I have been moved to the end of indoor gun ranges cause of the concussion and flash. Infact, had the range master double up his ear protection at one. Mine is the one with the ASR threading so can going on it. From a real world practically perspective though, one would have to really consider the flash signature this thing produces, but it draws attention, and makes a quick mag dump that much more fun.

3rd Ergo, will buy more
Written on Sep 12, 2021
3rd Ergo. They make for amazing gifts as well. Getting back to the review. I have both the vertical and swept A2 grip. The rubber is tacky in an almost moisture wicking way. The palm swell for me feel natural…(for reference, I wear a FJ golf glove in ML), and I actually think it positions my finger in a better position for straight pulls. This can also be noticed with the vertical grip that I’m reviewing, less wrist strain noticed immediately. The only thing I wish they had was a butt cap for the bottom. Would be nice to have that space be usable storage. But this grip is on all my AR platforms.

Quality Handguard

Exceptionally light weight. Durable. Would purchase another. Workmanship on the top rail
is evident with the notching to decrease weight. Slimmer. Provides for great grip. Did a complete upper with the v7 enlightened upper receiver. It matched up perfectly.

ultra light no compromise in integrity
Written on Feb 26, 2021
Built an ultralight VSeven platform. This upper is everything you could ask for and more. Sculpted, light light weight, removal of forward assist. It locks up tight with its lower. I would recommend to anyone looking to build a high end AR without machining the upper (f1), makes it work worthy (no debris) and a pleasure to handle.

makes it like shooting a 2011
Written on Feb 26, 2021
Rubber grip feels so tacky good. Palm swells help with larger hands. Vertical posture makes squaring up and repeat shots fluid. No bottom plug yet, otherwise it’d get a 5 stars. Changing my LaRue 308 grip now... but going with the traditional swept for precision shooting. Gets your shooting hand relaxed and enables, for me, a more natural position on my trigger finger.

Need 3m velcro but good.
Written on Feb 26, 2021
Looks great, light weight. Good compartments (batteries, adj gas key fits. Etc). Comes with a lot of stock wobble. You’ll need the velcro trick, using the rounded ends to shim in and create tightness. Btw. I use the V-seven 2055 buffer tube. I thought it might have been the angular shape, but I slapped it on my BCM and it did the same.
