I bet I priced 10 or 12 different scopes, from Leupold to Nikon, and this was by far the best quality scope at the best price. No doubt I’ve become a Vortex fan because of their no fault lifetime warranty, but that’s just part of it. I’ve owned many different brands, and in EVERY single case I’ve paid more for less. In this instance, I bought a 4x12x40 diamondback with the dead hold bdc. For the same set up in Nikon or Leupold it would have cost me double in most cases, and even more in others. The quality of the glass is top notch!! I have 3 other vortex scopes actively sighted in on other rifles, and each one of them is “dead-on”. I also have a leupold, a Nikon, and a Konus which i am equally happy with. I’m not brand specific, so I was looking for the best quality at the beat price..... and again..... it was VORTEX. I LOVE them!!!

Just started shooting seriously past 500 yards. Planning on a big hunt in western US. These optics are going to get me there and help drop my trophy. They're clear, accurate, and durable. They were also much more bang for my buck than most of the other brands in this price range.

Unbelievable quality for the price. The unit is very comfortable to hold and use with extremely clear glass and high range finding capabilities. This is the perfect rangefinder for "the field", given that is very compact, but even more importantly, trustworthy. I would recommend this rangefinder for any serious hunter.
