I don't typically buy a separate magnifier. Usually I'll get a 1-6x scope or higher for most of my rifles but I wanted to keep the weight down on this rifle. Who better to help with that search than Optics Planet. So I picked this up along with a Holosun HS510c Red dot sight. These 2 together are great!! Couldn't ask for more. The combo works well together and I'm able to save weight by removing my magnifier anytime. I have used it to sight in my red dot. Which is a blessing when you want to see your hits without getting off the rifle and looking at your spotting scope especially at 100yds. Don't get me wrong my 1-6x scope are clearer but I never intended for this rifle to have to utilize the magnifier all the time. CQ is the main purpose for this baby. But when you want to reach out and see what you can hit this come in handy. Plus you cant beat the price during Optics Planet's holiday sales.
