Not only is the ammo accurate, but the fusion bullet is the real deal. Wife has used it to take her deer here in Maine 4 out of the last five years. She prefers the bolt .223 to all the other firearms and we have used the fusion bullet with great success. All 4 deer she has taken aim at have fallen to one well placed bullet. Never needed a follow up. The fusion bullet passed through cleanly with a good exit hole on two deer. The other two deer she harvested I was able to retrieve a perfectly uniform mushroom, one quartering chest shot that I retrieved from the hide in the hind quarter, and the other passed through the shoulder and lung and lodged in what was left of the heart. I don’t recommend the caliber for deer for everyone, but if you do chose to use .223 either in your bolt or ar platform for whitetail then the fusion bullet offering is superb!
