This choke looks awesome and I took it out for a long range session when I received it and probably went through about 100 rounds of 00 Buckshot and Slugs. I noticed inconsistent accuracy at 100 yards with slugs toward the end of my session. When I got home to clean my gun I noticed the finish on the end of the choke was coming off and the interior was filled up with plastic material from the wads. Cleaning all of this out was a chore so my next time at the range I just ran a plain, non-ported improved cylinder choke. My accuracy at 100 yards with the slugs was great again so I believe the choke was the culprit. I returned mine because I clean shotguns more frequently than I breech doors, so I decided to stick with the plain Jane choke.

Not bright enough for the daylight

I found myself with this sight always leaving it on the highest setting and it was not bright enough to acquire easily in daylight conditions. The unit is well constructed and holds zero. I think it would be a good sight if full daylight shooting wasn’t anticipated.
