11.5” has a .625 gas block

Just a heads up, the description for this barrel says .750 for the 11.5”. The barrel gas block size is .625. I wish I had known this before ordering. Now I’m scrambling to find a pinned .625 gas block.

For the longest time I’ve been using extended bolt catches such as the phase 5 or magpul ones that extend into the trigger guard. I’ve swapped them all out for these. I love them. The extended latch is right where your thumb will be when you insert a magazine. I highly recommend you try one.

UTG Pro Offset Flashlight Ring Mount
I love this mount. I paired the mount with a nitecore p20 on a magpul handguard and the controls are right by my thumb. It costs less than a lot of other mounts but the quality is outstanding. I wish they had a FDE option, but I guess that’s why they make spray paint.

They're Annoying

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fit or finish of these pins, but the sheer size of them are some what annoying. They have a tendency to snag on stuff and they just look like huge pins protruding out of the side. The only use I could see is maybe someone who has difficultly with the take down pins.

Strike Industries Extended Bolt Catch
I've been using the Magpul BAD lever and the Phase 5 BAD lever for some time. I decided to use this on a new pistol build and this thing is nice. When I slam a magazine into the magwel, it's right by my thumb. It's also large enough to palm slap. I like this more than any of the BAD levers I have installed.
Is it worth $8.99, probably not. But at least it isn't discolored.

CMMG, Inc AR15 Magazine Catch
I've used CMMG lower part kits in several builds and they always matched all the other parts. I then used a cheap LPK, and the mag catch had a discoloration around around where the shaft fits into the bar. Having a slight case of OCD, I had to get a new one so I ordered this. It has no discoloration.

Great dust cover

I ordered this to match a FDE pistol build. It's easy to install, and to remove if needed. The polymer won't damage the paint on the pistol as much as a metal dust cover slamming into the lower. While installing, be careful of which way the spring is. If you mess it up, you can easily pull it back off and reset the spring.
Different colors

I used these pins on a previous build and liked the slight shine and the push hole. I ordered a new set for another build and the colors don't match. The pivot pin has a nice solid black shine to it, but the take down pin is dull and slightly gray. Beyond that, they work.

These magazine function flawlessly. However, I could have purchased 4 Mec-gar magazines for the price of 2 of these. If you have the factory or mec-gar magazines with the metal floor plate, all parts except the springs are interchangeable due to the indention on the sides. I'm going to keep these as the rubber plates on the bottom might be nice for range use, but I prefer the metal floor plate style.

These are great magazines. Mec-gar is one of the manufactures that make OEM magazines for CZ. The parts are interchangeable with the 2 factory magazines I got with my pistol. The only difference is the Mec-gar marking which I like as is states what pistol model and caliber it is made for. I will be buying all mec-gar mags for my CZ pistols from now on as they're over half the price and the same quality as factory mags.
