I've had this knife for at least 12 years now. Amazed I didn't lose it during one of three deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. It is solid when opened, blade locks in place. Blade is easy to open and almost as fast as a spring assist. The knife is stout and heavy, very utilitarian, maybe too stout for some. It's not intended as a dainty fillet knife but I have used it to gut out a deer when I couldn't locate one of my other knives. It's been used to cut all manner of materials from rope to leather, I even used it to open a few cans. It's heavy enough to be used for hammering in a pinch. The back of the blade is thick enough that I've used it to cut firewood by pounding the spine of the blade to help chop. I think the only reason this one hasn't been lost is because I'm always using it. May be a little big for EDC for some people. I've gotten my money's worth out of this knife and then some.

I had these sights installed on my department issued Glock 22 years ago after being less than satisfied with the factory installed night sights. I've been totally satisfied with their performance. TFO's are extremely bright in daylight and still very bright in total darkness. Their construction is sturdy and only shows minimal wear on the finish of the front sight after years of use. I like them so much I've had them installed on my off duty gun as well as recommending them to other officers. Our department will be updating to Gen 4's soon and you can bet mine will have Truglo TFO's on it
