This is a fantastic barrel with a nice coating. It's not as slick as some other TiN barrels, but shows the same properties. Nice threads with a decent protector as well that's included. Sadly mine had a slight defect on the finish upon receipt, but OpticsPlanet support is top notch. They have fixed the issue with their extremely polite, as well as incredibly fast support.
