Very comfortable and cool

Written on Jan 01, 2025

Works great as a scarf and as a piece of cloth in general. Looks good too if that's a concern. Not too much to say on this, just a solid shemagh all around that's decent in hot weather and works fine with it gets chilly. Well worth the price I got it for.

Good quality adapter

Written on Dec 16, 2024

Amazing adapter, only gripe is the cost I got it for. If you're going to mount either an optic or laser device on it then I can see the justification for tight machining and high quality control. But if it's not for either of those and doesn't need to stay zeroed I'd get a cheaper strip of metal that will do the same thing.

Great if you don't like the angled grips

Written on Dec 16, 2024

I really like the angled grips by Magpul as I *personally* do well with them and like how my hands grip the gun. However, some people like the standard straight up and down vertical grip style comparatively. My dad is one of those people. I got him an angled style grip and he didn't like it for his AR, so I returned it and got him a vertical grip and he stated he liked how his hands gripped it more comfortably. I also noticed that he stated shooting better afterwards too. If anyone tries to tell you there's a specific way to hold a gun or that your way is incorrect and you have to buy a different solution they're probably trying to sell you something. So if you think you'd like to try a vertical grip to see how you shoot and how well you do I would recommend this one as it's a very high quality brand. Nothing fancy to it, and if you're looking for a different attachment system Magpul makes similar types for those.

Grippy thing at end of rifle

Written on Dec 16, 2024

It works. Some people say you gotta put it one way some say the other, I put it one way and my hands like it. I really don't know what else to put here, it's really simple and extremely durable. Enough said honestly.

Much better than the side bolt release

Written on Dec 16, 2024

The installation instructions for this were very simple and I attached it without having to take apart the rifle at all. Slots perfectly under the trigger guard and is easy enough to operate both to lock and release the catch with thick gloves on. Never once had any issues caused by this locking the bolt when I didn't want it to. And I, personally, think that this makes the ARs bolt release system much cleaner. You can still operate it like normal but it adds the option to operate it with your trigger hand. With the ARs charging handle I think it makes it super simple to reload and also lock the bolt for any reason.
My only complaint is that it isn't super secured onto the bolt release button. It makes it wiggle a little bit back and forth in the trigger guard even after I tried tightening it more. However, as you can tell by my 5 star review I do not believe this is an issue in the slightest as it never caused any problems.

Best magazine on the market

Written on Dec 16, 2024

As the title states, I believe this is the best all round magazine on the market. Works fine in long term storage with it fully loaded and the window is a great touch. Only downside is it isn't as scratch proof as a metal magazine, but that's only a cosmetic issue, the function is not impeded as far as I can tell throwing these things around and on the ground. I don't believe I'd use any other type of magazine for my Galil Ace Gen 2.
