I have used many types of after market triggers on AR builds and this is the best I have used so far. This Geissele trigger is smooth and brakes like a glass rod. Extremely accurate. It really tightened up my groups. I wish I caught this SSA-E trigger on sale cuz it's pricy at $240 but next time I'm buying 2 of them.

Its better than the higher priced handguards for two reasons. 1. it gives you an extra 100 to 150 bucks to spend on other areas of your build like a trigger group or optics. 2. it locks up solid, the way the ears over lap the upper it can't twist loose. Even if some how it did there is minimal play between the handguard and the upper receiver to really move at all. The barrel nut is designed so its supper easy to line up the mounting holes. The fit and finish is exceptional. I really like the option of more then just 3,6 and 9 o'clock position for attaching pic rails. it puts my Inforce gen 2 light right at my thumb. It comes with the barrel nut and wrench, a 3 inch rail, a QD sling mount and allen wrenches. Also the directions are easy if you need them.

Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope
This is another great optic from Vortex to go with the other four that I have. I finally able to get to the range this weekend. I have this Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24mm riflescope mounted on a new DS-15 and I love it. the optic is vary bright, crisp and clear. It was supper easy to sight in with the illuminated reticle witch is plenty bright enough on a sunny day witch I was lucky to have. what more can I say its a vortex you can't go wrong with that. Buy it you won't be sorry you did.

Great optic the glass is really clear and bright. I really like the reticle its easy and fast target acquisition and definitely bright enough for bright day time use. Its even great without the illumination.

The base plate is too thick

The base plate is too thick so you really have to slam it in and it doesn't float like it should so I had to sand the base plate. it's plastic and now it's thin so don't now how long it will last. I I'm going to see if I can get steel base plates from Magnum research. bottom line buy your spare mag's from Magnum Research. it'll be less hassle.
