So far everything I've got from v7 has been very high quality. The fit and finish of this thing is absolutely flawless and it feels like it weighs nothing. The other review says it's blue? Mine is a very nice black so I'm not sure what that's all about. Do you need a super strong light weight expensive tube? No. For sure you don't. But if you want it and you can afford it you won't be disappointed.

So I decided to take a chance with this despite the mixed reviews because magpul has never let me down before and I figured the negative reviews were probably just people expecting too much from a 100$ bipod. To be clear I was not expecting this to be the end all be all best bipod in the world I just wanted something light weight that worked. The one I got is a pos The first thing I noticed is pressing the buttons to deploy the legs one of them is fine and one of the buttons it sounds and feels like the spring inside it is crunching and barely pops the button back out. Then when I mounted it on my gun I noticed that no matter how hard I crank down the adjustment knob I can not get the bipod to stop moving around. And it moves easily. This thing is so bad it's seriously making me wonder about all other magpul products. I hope this is an isolated issue with just this one product but I'm gonna hold off on buying anything magpul for a while until I know for sure. If you really want to buy this thing just understand there is no qc. Maybe you'll get a good one maybe you'll get a pos. You're pretty much gambling with 100$. It's not like the one I got is unusable it's just really poor quality and it's not worth it to me to deal with returning it. I probably would if it had cost more but for 100$ I'll just run it till it breaks. And it will break I'm sure of that.
