This is an awesome 2" Diagonal

Written on Feb 09, 2017

I received my Olivon Erecting 2in 90 deg Image Roof Prism Diagonal today Thursday February 09, 2017.
It came well packaged and secured in a box with nicely cut sponge to fit and to cap it of with another piece of sponge and silica to keep it dry and clean. The Diagonal came with caps to seal it from dust on both ends when not in use and put away for storage. The two thumbscrews are rather thick and great quality with great compression rings to tighten any eyepieces firmly in place. This 2" Diagonal full weight is 1-1/4lbs.

I've read all types of reviews about erect image Diagonal mostly with negative impact about seeing a line in the middle of it more so because it uses a prism to bring the image into correct orientation. I have a Celestron 1.25" erect image diagonal and I do see a thin line in the middle when viewing through it. However with this 2" Olivon erect image Diagonal I have no issues with that. I can see clearly with it all around the edges moving into the middle of it and have not seen any line or distortion (vignetting).

The moment I opened the box and saw this 2" Olivon Diagonal I knew I made the right decision to buy it. The quality of it is all metal and absolutely no plastic as far as I can see. The internal part is all blackened with a flat black and threaded to prevent reflections.
I placed the 2" Diagonal into my upgraded Meade Infinity 102mm Telescope which I also upgraded the 1.25' focuser to a 2" Crayford focuser and tightened the screws and it was
