Vortex Crossfire II (CF2-31039)
Written on Mar 20, 2021
I bought the Vortex Crossfire II 4-16x50 to put on my 30-06 Remington 700. Installed with the Leupold Backcountry mounts (High model 171113). Glass is really clear through all zoom and light levels. Scope has reticle focus and parallax adjustments which help customize the picture for different shooters/distances. Very happy with the purchase.

Leupold Backcountry for Remington 700

Review for
Leupold Backcountry Remington 2 Piece Mount
Bought these scope mounts (model 171113) for my Remington 700 30-06 and they are awesome. Quality components and easy to install. Based on Leupolds website I purchased the “High” version because I was installing a 4-16x50mm scope. Couldn’t be more pleased with the fit. The end of the scope has about a 3/16” gap between it and the barrel.
Just a warning that it might not fit if you have a bull/heavy barrel.

Speed Loader for Ruger Mark IV 22/45 LITE

Fantastic upgrade for loading Ruger Mark IV 22/45 magazines. I wish I would have had this product when taking the gun to the range for the first time. Both of these fit perfectly over the magazines and help suppress the spring. Would recommend for any Mark IV.

Competition Kit on Mark IV 22/45 LITE

Fantastic product. Installed kit with no issues in about 3 hours. Trigger is much lighter and crisper than stock. Really like being able to adjust the pre-travel. Would highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to upgrade their Mark IV.
Heads up if you are planning to install this yourself. It is handy to have a third hand while installing the extractor. It also takes a very small flathead screwdriver (and a dental scaling tool in my case).
