I personally prefer HBAR style barrels, not quite sure why I thought this was gonna be similar to that. It’s just a bit too thin for my preference. I never installed it so I can’t comment on its actual performance, but it looked very nice.

Finish is great, smooth like nitride. I was very surprised to find out this also has a high pressure bolt head (reduced firing pin diameter), & the finish on this part is Nickel Boron but not really sure why. It doesn’t bother me though because you can’t even see that part anyways.

This piece is cast, I personally wouldn’t use it because that makes it brittle. The finish looks like a powder coat because of the cast form.

Armaspec B1 Extended Magazine Release
I have 3 different brands of lowers, but not one of them has a mag release slot big enough for this thing. This is as oversized sized as the Geiselle Maritime bolt catch, which if you don’t know it’s just ridiculously oversized.

Gas port is unusually small, you may want to have it drilled bigger. With a fully open gas block, I was having a failure to load issue. That’s just a gas port problem, very easy & cheap fix at the gunsmith. I’d still recommend this barrel especially for the price. I got 1/2” accuracy at 100 yards so it’s a good barrel. Poor dude with the 1 star just got a bad barrel.

The first thing I wanna say is to make sure the QD latches are extremely tight, I made the assumption that since it’s QD you should be able to remove it without tools. I was wrong & the scope fell off my rifle. They latch very well if you make them tight enough, you just won’t be able to remove it without tools.
It’s an incredibly sturdy mount compared to other brands I’ve had like the Burris PEPR, I’m definitely not worried about bumping the scope anymore. It has a very nice finish with no sharp edges, and clamps the scope very well. I’d definitely buy this mount for any high recoil firearms.

Audere Adversus Scope Mount
This thing is very well built, a bit pricey but overall worth it. I bought this for my 50 bmg, apparently it kicked too much for my Burris pepr (it didn’t like it).
As usual don’t buy it for the bubble level, I’m not sure why anyone bothers with the bubble anymore. Very solid construction, I don’t think it’d budge even if you dropped it.

The anodized finish is a little dull, definitely not shiny which I actually prefer. Quality seems very nice, I couldn’t find any defects or issues with it. I’d definitely recommend this one for anyone looking for a 17” AR-15 hand guard.
