Trijicon Convert
Written on Jul 25, 2019
I switched away from my Trijicon MRO on my AR for the Holosun 503GU because of my astigmatism. The Trijicon is a great optic but the dot Bloomed on me really bad. I fell in love with the Circle Dot optic that Holosun has and after 2000 rounds on my rifle and multiple training courses, I trusted the Holosun brand enough to put it on my EDC gun.
I bought the 507c last month for my Glock 19 EDC and replaced my Trijicon RMR with it. Was a breeze to install as it fits the same milling footprint. I LOVE the reticle. Much easier for me to pick up on the draw and the sight window is larger than the RMR as well.
I’ve got a little over 500 rounds on it and it’s held zero very well. The self adjusting feature on the brightness of the optic is actually great. I don’t have that on my AR optic and didn’t think I would use it but I do most of the time. On a few occasions at the range I’ll switch it to manual adjust but its great the majority of the time.
None of this is a downer on Trijicon but there are a number of LEO / Mil guys I know running the Holosun now and with a lifetime warranty they stand behind the product. It’s much more affordable but that’s not my primary reason for buying Holosun. It’s a more versatile product, with a better reticle, that is also much kinder to my astigmatism. Can’t say enough about their optics and the 507C is a home run. Buy it and don’t look back.

Great Minimalist Stop

Review for
ZeroBravo KeyMod Rail Reversible Hand Stop
If you’re tired of all the bulky tacticool hand stop this is a great alternative. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and take up almost no space while still letting most of your hand grasp the rail. Put this on my 10.5 ar Pistol after 2 other fails. Great for minimal real estate and I love it.

Good civilian edc , not a duty holster

Review for
Fobus Evolution Holster
Have had this for about 2 months and more good than bad.
Very comfortable and easy to put on and remove. I work from home, go to train, pick up kids so I’m always in & out, changing clothes, etc.
This fits all my needs. Downside is that retention is ok for what I need but it’s not something that if I had to do things that required a lot of retention due to strenuous activity don’t think this would do it.
As long as you know what the potential pitfalls are it’s a pretty good edc for the average guy

Great Red Dot - Better Price

Review for
Holosun HS503GU Micro Red Dot Sight
I’ve got a TRIJICON MRO on my AR 15 rifle. Wanted to put a Red Dot on my Truck Gun that I built ( 10 inch AR with collapsible stock ) but didn’t want to drop another $400. I was comparing this to the Sig Romeo and it seemed like the Reviews in the Holosun were consistently really good. From there it was which one. Initially, was looking at the 503C but the more I read the more I saw some people didn’t like the auto adjust feature and I wanted to be able to control the brightness manually. LOVE this Optic. The 6.5 MOA circle is great for CQB Training. Has held zero well. Super fast target acquisition and if you like the regular Red Dot it’s an easy switch. Just hold down the — button for 3 seconds and it’s switched over. 5 year battery life. Probably not the same durability as Trijicon and Airmpoint but I’m not Military & won’t be in the muck and abusing it the way they will. If my life were on the line I’d spend the money on the MRO because of its durability testing. However, saw LOT of You tube videos freezing this thing and bunch of other stuff and it did great. This is an AWESOME Red Dot, not just for the price but in general. OP got it out & delivered quick. Great purchase.

Pelican Handgun Case
Written on May 18, 2018
Recently for work I’ve had to travel a lot and being without my handgun is not comfortable. This is a great case for travel as well as storing additional firearms at home. It’s TSA approved. I ordered a set of TSA approved locks at same time for travel. OP got it out and shipped quickly. The locks took longer than I wanted but I didn’t check the availability before I ordered so that was on me
