For the price it is hard to beat. The quality is very good. We will see how it holds up. Be aware that if you lay the gun on its left side on a bench the latch will open thus the bolt could move. I believe this will happen with any oversize latch.

I like the low profile for competition as compared to other styles. It's versatile with the hand or index finger in the front or rear of the stop. The ability to reposition the hand while moving or shooting around or behind a barricade is very handy.

Shooting competition this is a great add on. It keeps the hand cooler and adds more grip to the hand guard. Easy to install. I recommend using a rolling motion with your thumb. it does take a little pressure. But it is not going to fall out. With a low profile I don't think it will snag on anything.
