I have replaced every front sight post I own, it’s literally like having an additional red dot
They make percussion iron shooting next level, you can look through the aperture, it’s different at first but you can make percussion shoots at distance much easier and you have holds with triangular chevron10/10

I’m reading all these negative reviews and I have not had the same experience. I have left it dunking since the si gel dot came out and it’s still on the same battery, field of view is good and I’ve put about 2k rounds down range using this optic on a CZ scorpion.
I then bought a second one for my AR and yes you can see the dots better with a magnifier for sure, but the donut of death is still really nice for CQB acquisition I do recommend them. But I do also own lots of optics they do have a home on two of my weapons though.

very good option for budget

If you don’t want to break the bank this flip to side is a go too.
It does have a slight bit of play after hundreds of rounds but it still holds zero and it durable ended up getting a second one for my other rifle.
