I purchased this MDT Field Stock Chassis for my Savage 12 FV Varmint (22-250) because the factory stock is a blind magazine and the butt pad was damaged. This savage 12 has a bull barrel and dropped in easily, free floating. The aluminum bedding block, adjustable comb and length of pull, and use of AICS mags are great features in this reasonably priced item. I got a Memorial Day discount plus used my $$ with free shipping. Very pleased! Highly recommended!!!!

Timney Triggers CZ 457 Rimfire Trigger
While the factory trigger on my CZ 457 jaguar was OK, the new Timney trigger is fantastic. Much lighter and crisp like a breaking glass rod. Highly recommended. Good deal available on OpticsPlanet. Easy installation; drop in with very little trouble. Integrity of the safety is maintained.

Perfect for my African Safari

Went on a Plains Game South African safari and I wanted more power than my Nikon Safari 1–5 scope. The 1 – 10 seem to be a better option. I was concerned about holding zero when shooting my CZ 550 Safari Classic 375H&H, but my concerns were unwarranted. It held zero throughout my load development shooting over 100 rounds, and it survived the trip to South Africa in the belly of the airplane. The glass is clear and I like the retical. I took game from 25 yards to over 200 yards off of sticks. this scope was perfect. Since that purchase I have two more for other rifles. The illuminated radical was nice but I didn’t have occasion to need it. Highly recommended.
