Great Panels, Great Price
Written on Nov 01, 2017
Panels attach easily and feel great. They are not very aggressive, but that’s not a bad thing per se; some people may want a less aggressive texture. Two of the panels for the side of the rail are not just perfectly rectangular but actually bend on one side, a touch that makes a noticeable difference in the ergonomic feel of the rail. One knock against these panels isn’t against the panels themselves- they come with 4 panels but only 3 pairs of M-LOK t-nuts. They should come with 8. Rails with interrupted picatinny at 12:00 with M-LOK in between are becoming more common. I contacted Griffin Armament about this thinking it was a mistake, but it wasn’t. Griffin Armament should account for this change in rails and throw in a 4th pair of t-nuts. I don’t think it would kill their margin, and I wouldn’t care if I had to pay a couple more bucks for this kit, it is already affordable and a good value. Other than that, great panels, and of course they match the A3 grip Griffin offers.
