i bought this for an AR-10 lower. while i am very pleased to have the desired cheek rest height, the device is a tad heavy, wobbles on the buffer tube when extended, and the single point adjustment gizmo is hard to pop out. so instead of me pressing the cheek rest down and the butt extension in during storage, i just leave them extended as it is really a pain to undo the gizmo that holds them in.

i have 2 of these, one on a .308 win upper and another on a 6.5 creedmoor upper, both by diamond back fire arms. a very easy upgrade makes the uppers a lot easier to use. 150 rounds have so far gone down range on each of these puppies and they are still working. the roll pin on one side of of levers did come loose but it is a no brainer to to fix with any pointed tool that will expand the ends of the roll pins.

i have two of these, one on a .308 win and another on a 6.5 creedmoor. putting it in was easier than taking out the existing one. a little your tube here and there and a newbie was able to put it in. at that time i barely had 100 rounds fired on each barrel. both are now coming close to 250 rounds and the setting i put the thing in has not moved at all. i basically just guessed 'middle' seetings for each, just counting clikcs, as i am not using them suppressed [still a dream for now], and casings consistently jump to 4 o'clock on both barrels.

the package comes with all you need to put this on to your m-lok handguard. i have this on my .308 and it helps small hands and arms deal with the recoil of the big puppy. it is short enough not to cramp your style when shooting from a prone position with a magpul bi-pod on the lowest setting.

purchased this a while back to install new adjustable gas blocks on to a .308 win and a 6.5 creedmoor barrerl. Barrels are working fine. and i am really a newbie, i still have to put 500 rounds on those two barrels.

Used this on a Diamond Back DB10, both on .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor uppers, replacing the Magpul CTR CAGE 1LX50 that came with it brand new. The adjustments all in all will take a while to get used to. Having to adjust for the cheek pad rises and butt pad extension after deploying it from collapse state is a "new thing" that has to get to muscle memory. The butt pad memory feature comes out as advertised, and the check pad riser can be pulled to maximum and then pushed down with the cheek [cheek should now where to stop when muscle memory is set] and then the lock can be engaged. The springy feel on the butt pad helps reduce recoil. The unlock lever for collapsing will also take some getting used to as it is "the other way around" from the prior one. The cheek pad riser will get in the way of the charging handle so the unit has to be set so that the charging handle can be fully retracted. That puts your head a bit further back and might require that you reposition your optics to get the proper eye relief.

Used this to replace a flash hider on a diamond back .308 barrel. Effective in controlling muzzle rise and softening the recoil. The device is small and does not add too much to the 18 in barrel. It also comes ready for attachment of a VG6 Precision CAGE. This is not a technical review, just an anecdotal review so there are not statistics, just observations based on the use of the product. Target reacquisition is improved even with a 2.5 prism scope in use. The flash hider at the end also does what it is supposed to do, which makes this brake do some flash hiding, too.
