After firing a few rounds with my 300 mag the crosshairs drastically moved inside the scope tube, they ended up intersecting at the top of the sight picture.
Judgeing by the reviews I might of just received a bad one or it's not built tough enough for heavy recoil
The glass is clear in the center but it has a slight haze around the edges

After shooting with a Nikon Monarch 5-20 power at my club's 600yd range, I was told by one of the more experienced F class shooters that a higher power scope would help with my accuracy. A couple of the guys recommended Sightron SIII 50 power scopes.
The scope has more then lived up to their praises!
The glass is very clear. The lighted red dot in the center of the retical is the perfect contrast with a black bulls eye, and the elev. and wind. adjustment have a firm solid click and feel.
Before I received the scope I was concerned that the silhouette mill dot reticle would be to busy because it's filled with "lines" of differant lengths, but it's not, the hash lines are relatively light compared to the bold center dot. I dial in my bullet elevation POI but use the dots (lines) as a guide for doping the wind, so I really like it better than a traditional target reticle.

I am convinced that this is the best 10-50 power lighted reticle scope for under $1000
