Reticle faint

Mounted on a savage 22lr MARK II BTVS. Zeroed at 50yds and going to zero at 100yds. There is a Long Gong competition at the range I shoot at. 300yds on a metal target with 22lr. I needed MOA markings for hold at 300yds. I would have given 5 stars but the markings are pretty fine and vanished on a black target when siting in at 50 yds. Should be OK at longer range.
Needs quality control

Had the mount installed on my RIA FS 1911. Went to mount the Burris Fastfire I purchased and one of the tapped mounting holes will not accept the screw. Tried and tried but the threads will not engage. Going to take it to the smith tomorrow and see if they have a tap. Not happy. I guess I should have done a pre-assembly check.

The laser was easy to attach. I see why they give 2 battery cover screws!! The fit is excellent, the instructions are simple yet precise. I set up for a pulse beam and zeroed to the front sight at 25 feet +/-. The auto activate works as claimed. When I grip the weapon the laser fires instantly and the green beam is very visible even in daylight. Going to the range to final sight in this weekend. Over all, I am very pleased.

Sensitive switch

I like the compact design but the switch is too sensitive. Inserting in a holster or even setting down at an angle can activate it. It should have a positive click to engage. It was easy to install and the initial site in was right on. I can't recommend for an EDC weapon because of the switch..

Handy and well made

Solid construction. The 3 levels are nice. Seldom use full brightness. The strobe is incredible. Fire the strobe at someone they will look away. It is an instant reaction. For defense hold with thumb on the button, cross your weapon hand over your flashlight hand at 90 degrees. Gives you the advantage.

Works as advertised

I wanted the LG451 green trigger guard model but it was not quite a good fit. The laser grip model fits perfectly. I did have to switch to single side safety. Laser is lined up with the sights at 50 feet as they stated. Shouldn't need much adjusting at the range. Green is the only way to go. My red lasers wash out in sunlight. I would have given 5 stars except it is really pricey.
