I bought this with the intent of using it on a Mossberg stock pattern firearm. It did require modification to fit. I also intended on adding a folding mechanism to allow the buffer tube I wanted to add to fold. This required using a heat gun to breakdown the Red Loctite threadlocker that the manufacturer used during assembly. The spring sits in a cup and will not allow the installation of my folding mechanism without further modification. The grip itself interferes with the crossbolt style safety of the gun, so further modification was needed to allow for the safety to function and for final assembly. If you aren’t a gunsmith, I would not recommend attempting modifications. If you want a buffer tube, buy the model that comes with it. If you want to add a folding mechanism, please let me know what you come up with, I’m still scratching my head on that one. Aside from my modifications, the product seems to be as described and does work as designed. Installation is very straightforward for the correct application. The ergonomics are pretty good as well.
