Review for
Magpul ACS Mil-Spec Carbine Stock
Overall, its a very decent and robust stock. I don't understand why you need double battery compartments, but whatever. Its comfortable but can really be harder for people with smaller faces to use because its so wide. However, I'll probably skip this on future purchases for 2 aggravating reasons: First, the battery compartments make it nearly impossible to access the release pin for removing the stock. Sure, maybe its not something that you need to do on a regular basis, but it shouldn't be that sucky. Second, if you have a hairy face, the crevices around the battery compartment is excellent at grabbing the hair as you move your face over the surface.

Nice safety

I have other safeties on AR platforms and this as decent as any of them. Yes its plastic, but appears well made and it works very well. I don't see plastic as being a huge setback. Yes, its red and obtuse, but unless you don't like big red things, I don't see the problem.
