First of all I was looking for a class costly option and this upper far exceeded my expectations. The carbine length gas system is beautiful. I bought an aero adjustment gas block and put it on immediately. The dwell time on this is amazing and smooth and makes it crisp and lite shooting.

I’ve run about 3,000 rounds through the lightened (10.5 oz) BcG and I’m not showing an access of wear and tear. The only real downside to this thing is that the holes they used to lighten it are a pain to clean. Let’s just get this out of the way as well…If you’re not running an adjustable gas block you don’t need the low mass carrier, just run the standard weight bolt carrier group. As far as running the lightened BcG with an adjustable gas block you can run less gas and lighter weight on the buffer and get similar dwell times. So is it worth the pain of cleaning? Mmmm sure maybe

I honestly love this grip. I will say as they break in and wear down they get this weird pelting on them that is pretty tacky so if you get that I’d suggest changing them out. I ran my old grip for 3 years before having to swap it. I have super small hands and it doesn’t bulk the gun up enough to make a difference. I pocket carry as well and I’ve never had it interfere with drawing the weapon. Pros definitely outweigh the cons. Plus it looks cool af.

I run this holster with my Sig p238. It is fantastic for its intended use. People think holsters will make your gun magically disappear. I use this whenever I’m wearing a jacket. Works fantastic with a north face jacket or anything with side pockets. You can run it in jeans in the front pocket as well but it’s going to print a little bit. Cargo pocket = perfect. Great for if you want to safely stuff a gun in your pocket. I’ve never had the holster come out of the pocket when drawing. Simple to use, easy to hide, and safer than just shoving a gun in your pocket.

Here’s what I’ll say. Some claim it needs to be shimmed, and what I say to that is your receiver is junk. I have it in two different AR’s and I’m about to put it in a third. It has a really crisp break, not ultra light but is light compared to other triggers. Where this trigger shines is in break, reset, break. If you get even halfway decent at riding the break you can really move some lead down range.

I’m currently running this on my 16” AR. I’ve been through a few different options. Everything from A2 through war comp. Spent a solid bit of money on different muzzle devices. This is hands down the best one I’ve come across so far. It makes a noticeable difference. You’d think >$30 it’s going to be cheap and junk but it’s duty worthy and a darn good choice. I’m telling you save your money and get this thing. Makes groups tighter. There’s 0 muzzle rise so follow ups are super fast and it’s worth every penny. Even at night the flash is hardly noticeable. It’s a solid unit. It’s not any louder than any other muzzle brake out there.

Well here’s what I can say to keep it simple. I have a 10/22 standard receiver with a volquartsten trigger and a .920 bull barrel. Which fits like a glove in the x-22 hunter stock (also after market). This stock will not full seat the receiver making it useless for me. Kind of let down was excited to see how this worked out.

Back in the day I had a Magnum research 10/22 that eventually got sold, I have to say that’s one of my regrets as far as gun ownership goes. That gun was a feather weight, but also very picky with what ammo went into it. So currently what I have started its life as a Ruger 10/22 target with a hammer forged barrel and wooden stock. This gun weighed a metric ton. So first thing to go was the stock. I’ve got a Magpul stock because basic gun stuff, the bolt and internals are volquartsen, along with a voquartsen TG2000 trigger group. I’m running a Leupold VX-freedom firedot 3-9x40 and it is an absolute tack hammer at 50 yards. This barrel has been fantastic as far as cutting the fat out of the original rifle goes. It groups very tight at 50 yards and hold zero fantastic. Would definitely recommend

So let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Your LRBHO only works on certain uppers with this bolt. On my set up it doesn’t. Rather frustrating since that’s why I spent more money on the “enhanced bolt”. This set up does run smooth. You can definitely tell the difference with this setup. Recoil is definitely dampened down. I’m mildly disappointed with the bolt and the fact that the LTBHO doesn’t catch. Maybe I should try some hotter loads in it but with standard Remington 9mm ranger ammo and Glock mags there’s no way it will hold open

I’m running this in a DB9R. It was extremely easy to drop in and worked without any mark or hiccups. Will update the review once I run a few rounds through. The lack of literature about the product was kind of annoying. Basically a trigger in a bag with no instructions but YouTube helped. Had to move some spring ends out of the way in order to get to the Alan keys no big deal. Fit snug as a bug.
