I have installed this cap on 2 of my 3 lights and love it. It locks securely and allows for the use of either integrated hand switch or optional long gun remote switch (sold separately). My only suggestion would be for Streamlight to offer this cover and the remote switch in a package deal.
GREAT LIGHT/LASER COMBO

I have three of these light laser combos on my weapons, two on rifles and one on a pistol. The illumination from the light is great in any condition with a concentrated center spot with ample flood halo surrounding the central beam. the laser is easily visible in all but bright sun light, where it can still be seen but at closer range (30-40 YDS).
