I thought I could clean up the feed ramp with 1200 grit sand paper and scotch brite, but The surface of the feed ramp is uneven and there are a bunch of cut marks groves in it. So now I'm down to 500 grit paper and I've been sanding on it for like 15 minutes. I expect more quality for 200$!!
